tickle

this morning my friend and I heard noises from the apartment next to me, it sounded like moans of despair, we both looked at each other and wondered what the hell was happening. My neighbor is a middle aged overweight blind mexican lady. She's very nice, i often see her leaving her apartment with a long white walking stick which guides her from the numerous obstacles that we take for granted walking by every day. so i guess i keep an eye her to make sure everything goes well but i'm often scared to talk her, due to the lack of knowing what to say. if i see her i tend to avoid conversation especially if she's unable to see me from a distance, i normally just wait until she's passes. Two days ago, i saw her, we were both leaving in the morning for work, and I over came my fear of silence and started a small conversation, + since i just got a dog who often barks when i'm not home, i wanted to make sure he wasn't annoying her and that i'm working on the barking issue. anyway.... back to this morning and the moans of despair, they started to get louder and i could here mumbling words of stop and help, I quickly put on my jeans and ran over to the door, my heart beat was beating fast and was scared. since i was outside the door, i heard the moans clearer and louder, i stated in a clear and somewhat masculine voice, "are you ok, do you need any assistance" and i waited for a few seconds (i was thinking about just opening the door) and i heard giggling and laughs.. I was flabbergasted and also relieved, that she was ok and that i didn't barge in like a super-hero to a blind tickle party orgy....

black bags.

I have done a lot driving since I have gotten my license 13 years ago; it’s either it was driving to shows, record stores, or tasty vegetarian restaurants along the boarding states of pennsylvania or just the numerous road trips around the country, but on all these trips and still today i see black bags along the highway. what the fuck are in these bags? at times i think it's a bag full of money, or maybe it's a dead baby, or a hooker's torso, or even fecal matter. then other times i think it's a bag full of old clothes meant to been delivered to a thrift store. I wish i had stopped for at least one of the bags and investigated it or at least poked it with a stick, maybe if i had, i wouldn't wonder as much, maybe my thought process would focus on more important shit then making ridiculous assumptions on what's in a black bag along the highway.

swans - love will tear us apart ep.

i love the swans, and what could be better then the swans covering a joy division song..

diaper - the brown suit

it's impossible to find info on this band, nor do i have the cover art work but i made one :)
this album is rad, very focussed on the violin and fronted by a female (who i was told played on nirvana's nevermind). it's folk like but expermental at times, i was also told todd rittman and pat samson is in this project as well, it's the reason my friend gave it to me he knows i'm really into us maple.

fela kuti- expensive shit.

i love this album, it's just so damn catchy, i'm not going to lie here, makes me want to shake my ass, and i never shake my ass, and i hate funk music, but i'm really into fela. I found out who fela was from a bread a circuits record, they used some of his music as sample intros, and ever since then i was really into him, i think this is one of his best albums.

fucking bowie

I tend to never buy clothes, and if i do it's a button shirt from a thrift store. with that stated i purchased three pairs of jeans last thursday. It's almost impossible for me to find simple but fitted jeans which are modestly priced. finding a good pair of jeans is comparable to the nazis searching the holy grail( as in indiana jones, the nazis were looking for the grail for years and then indiana found it in like week). anyway i found them at macys and they were on sale, $29.00, levi's slim 514. amazing deal, i was stoked.. i was so excited that the heavy eastern european accented sales lady talked me into getting a macys credit card, so i can save an additional 20%, i caved and did so. what the fuck was i thinking i hate credit cards, i could see if it was a beautiful girl in which i was memorized by her cleavage or her eyes, but it was no other then an older european lady.. my cheapness got the best of me.. yet again...

the next day was the first official "dude day", my friend and i have off the same day so we decided to call it dude day, and we would do nothing but dude stuff on that day. The day started off for me driving to james house and he made me a killer tuna sandwich then we headed to jos to talk business over a latte and enjoymeant of the non monsoon weather that texas had been under. we then headed to the mall to walk around and we ended up in macys again. while adventuring in the store we came across a sale rack, and on this sale rack i came across a rad david bowie shirt, and this is pretty much what my whole random blob of words were about, a sweet david bowie shirt purchased at macys for $10.00 and to let everyone know how undude dudes really are. a dude day involved lattes, tuna, walking around the mall and shopping.

doctors & beggars

is it just me, or does everyone look around and
wonder why other people are seeing the doctor, while
sitting in the waiting room for your session. Whenever i see an older person,
i automatically think its an aging illness which will
result in some crippling death.. or if i see an
attractive wealthy lady it's depression.. why do i
think these things, am i really that closed minded??
as i was coming home from the doctors, i saw a
homeless man on the corner of 2222 and the mopac off ramp,
the man was standing with a poor posture but a full
beard. he had a sign that stated ninjas killed his
family, i thought it was witty and his beard was
impressive(almost dan higgs like) so i reached for my
hair tie thats wraps around my money and plastic and
pulled out a folded dollar bill, to give to this hairy
beast of a beggar. as i rolled down my window and held
out a crisp but folded george washington, the man walked
over with a cocky but expected ungratefulness. as i handed
the bill, i stated i liked his beard, he seemed
unappreciative and ungrateful of my comment and my
dollar which i actually worked for at a job which i dislike, while he writes funny signs and gets people to share their hard earned cash. as i drove off, i thought to myself, fuck that guy, i hope his family was killed by ninjas......

archers of loaf - all the nations airports

this is one of my favorite 90's indie rock band. This album reminds me of my first year of college, i listend to it often while studying and writing papers.

piss driblets

I hate when i walk into a bathroom and see piss on a toilet seat, it's disgusting.. what makes one do this? I could see pissing all over a bathroom for a passive aggressive revenge but not leaving piss driblets on a toilet seat. I tend to see this act of disgrace more in the work environment (which is even fucking worse). I can recall numerous times walking into a stall and just getting grumpy as all hell knowing that I work with a douche bag who has no respect for all the future toilet sitters sitting on that seat for that remaining of the day. I even wipe up my piss driblets that are on the rim of the bowl due to a fear of it becoming a grotesque yellow piss stain. I often wonder how these people live, what do their bathrooms look like, how they present themselves, even how they treat other people and animals...

isis redsea ep

i slept in today... sleeping in is the greatest and the worst. great for being lazy and unproductive the worst for feeling like i wasted part of my off day. i wasn't even hung over, i just found that comfy spot on my uncomfortable used futon bed and unconditionally slept. my friend james called twice while i was sleeping, we both have off fridays, so fridays are going to be fun eventful days full of skating, lunch and productiveness, unless i sleep in..... i don't regret sleeping in, i'm actually still tired, i'm hoping a loud record and a cup of coffee will start my day off right...

cube life

i work in a cube and i drink coffee most of the day. i stare at two monitors, one is off calibration and the screen is greener then the other. it's kinda of annoying but not enough for me to change it. i have my headphones on majority of my shift, ok there on nine hours out my 10 hour shift, but i keep the volume down low so i can still hear peoples random conversations. maybe it's more of a background noise for me or it's so people don't bother me... i overhear so many conversations, yesterday i heard the guy behind me being kinda of an ass to his girlfriend and he hung up on her, or the know it all dude that sits on the other side of the cube wall talk about the best workout regiments, the dudes way overweight... who would take advice from that guy, and just today this annoying voice girl bragging that she inherited $125,000.... good god, what is with these people... i hate my cube life...

the dead texan

I decided to post an album on how i feel and look this morning. the dead texan is the first solo effort of adam wiltzie. His first album brings little tidbits from his other projects(Stars of The Lid and Windsor for the Derby) into an altogether more complete, breathless, dreamy, atmospheric form of delicate soundscaping.

philip glass

it's 12:25am central standard time, i should be sleeping.... resting for work so i'm not depended on a latte to carry me through the day, but in actually reality i'm up, wanting to sleep but unable to achieve it.. i decided to post two records, which i think are brilliant, fascinating, and they often leaves me in a dreamy state. I'm not giving you a history on philip glass, but he's a composer who writes/crafts beautiful film scores and albums. I chose to post my favorite two albums, which are: glassworks and solo piano.
