so i recently noticed i create dead horses in my life, it's impossible to avoid, i get in a strut and i ride it until it's dead, even though my happiness is jeopardized. i never learn or benefit from straddling the beast, i just continue to ride, till it's dead... This happens in all aspects of my life; jobs, relationships with woman, and even in mindless things such as what i choose to eat. at this very moment i'm straddling a dead horse (my job), i hate it, but it's comfortable, it pays the bills, i even work from home, but my happiness is jeopardized. i hate it so much i even sing little jingles on how much i hate it, is this normal ?? do all people do this ? i love to bitch, my job isn't hard, not threatening, it's just sucking my soul. at times i feel like a douche thinking about my unhappiness, while so many are unfortunate and wishing to be in the same position, but fuck em, this is my dead horse and i need to dismount.
david byrne Lead Us Not Into Temptatio soundtrack

it's moody and it's dark in many places, and bizarrely upbeat in others. the song speechless is incredible

steven jesse bernstein - prison

weird poetry read over jazzy ambient music. bernstein committed suicide by stabbing himself in the throat three times with a knife.

I came here for the most amazing album of all time, Prison by Steven Jesse Bernstein and then picked up a bunch others just based on your comments and impeccable taste. I am excited to try these new to me bands or albums out. Thank you for this site and keep up the good work. I know it's hard and time consuming but for music aficionados like myself, this is where I get turned on to artists or bands that I might never hear. I would hate to have lived and never known what Mr Bernstein had to say. More Noise Please!
